college lyfe.
Second time in a week meeting this cutiepie. Nokia has been promoting their new phone in front of my college campus a few days ago, and today I met my soul mate again. We're fated to be together... Hahaha! I swear this mascot is the cutest thing ever. I've got free stickers too! Hehehe! :D

Theres a lot of tests going on lately. It has been continuously the 4th week of tests..... CONTINUOUSLY. Its either a mock test or an actual assessment. Theres more next week too. Sigh. Thank god I have a 1 week break at the end of this month. I totally need it! I've been sleeping late due to all these midnight oil burning activities. Actually its not really consider midnight oils burning. Its not really consider last minute, is it? Its barely 2 months since we started college and all the tests are pilling in? Okay, so they expect me to study everyday, and this is consider last minute... Great la, great! I'll turn into a panda soon.
This year, I'm taking all arts subjects so its a new start for me. I was previously from a pure science stream, and let me tell you, what I'm going through now is practically HELL. Some of my classmates, ahem, okay. Most of my classmates are really smart. Its actually really pressuring knowing they are a competition (in a way). Its like I study so hard but only achieve what they already know... :(

But its okay. I've just gotten back my Accounts and Econs first assessment marks recently and it isn't as bad as I expected it to be, haha. Pretty satisfied with it! For a first-timer! Hopefully it turns out well for the rest of my subjects.. God bless.
Before starting college, most of my relatives and friends told me SAM is an easy way into Uni. Its not as hard as A-levels or Form6. But as I've enrolled myself for this, I find that it isn't as simple as they say it is. It requires a lot of consistency in academic wise and with the newly implemented transcript 2 (kokurikulum marks), it takes up a lot more of my time. Due to the activities I've join to accumulate transcript 2 marks, I'd reach home in the evening everyday. Not forgetting all the homework given by each subject teachers that requires us to finish it within a day, because theres classes the next day. My bed time would be pushed to 12 or 1am. And if theres an assessment or assignments due, I’d probably sleep around 3am. I wake up at 6am everyday, as I live a distant from TCSJ. Also to avoid the jam, I’d leave my house earlier. Punctuality seems to matter a lot in college....
So yeah :)
Note to all, DO NOT. I repeat. DO NOT TAKE SOUTH AUS MATRICULATION (SAM). Its stress, all the way! Assessments after assessments and when you think you have a break? Assignments will pile in.
Have a great week ahead! *cause I sure want that for myself. heh.
